| VICTORIA
is the oldest city on Canada's west coast and has been known
for years as the most British of Canandian cities. The beautiful
gardens, waterfront walks, and restored 19th century architecture
does create a scenic and pleasant city destination. The
nicest shops and restaurants are all within walking distance
of the Inner Harbour and the Old Town district.
On pleasant days, one of the best diversions is to stroll
the area and watch the sun set over the water. Other famous
highlights are the excellent Royal British Columbia Museum
and the beautiful celebrated Butchart Gardens. |
