ST LUCIA
more than lives up to the idyllic Caribbean paridise. It's
combination of small, honey sand beaches, clear waters,
reefs teeming with tropical fish and verdant interior rainforests
as well as lively music and dance is perfect for a vacation.
However, St Lucia is far from being a overdeveloped and
overpacked resort destination. Its rural economy is based
more on bananas and coconuts than on tourism the resulting
atmosphere is is low key and laid back. The most stunning
scenery is in the south, where the twin volcanic peaks of
the Pitons abruptly rise into sharp peaks from the shoreline.
