| PHILADELPHIA,
the "City of Brotherly Love" is also the birthplace
of the nation. Representative solemnly gathered here in
1776 to sign the Declaration of Independence and
became the early capital of the newly formed United States.
Today, the city's neighborhoods reflect the rich history
in its world class art collections, fine restaurants and
museums. The one area that visitors do not want to miss
when visiting Philadelphia is the area known as Independence
Mall, a 45 acre urban park that contains the well preserved
18th century structures from the American Revolution. The
park is dominated by the tall brick tower of Independence
Hall. |
