ORLANDO, a quiet provincial town in 1950's, when
Cape Canaveral and then theme parks transformed it into
mushrooming business center. Most people who visit Walt
Disney World, Universal Studios Escape and
Sea World, choose to stay at one of the countless
motels along Highway 192, south or southwest of town.
But don't choose to ignore the city itself. It is a lovely
place with some nice attractions of its own. The fantastic
Orlando Museum of Art houses collections of Columbian
artifacts with figurines from Peru, African art and American
Paintings from the 19th and 10th centuries.
