Best known as the capital of country music, NASHVILLE
attracts six million people each year. The new Country
Music Hall of Fame is the centerpiece of Nashville's
lively downtown area. Located nearby is the striking
State Capitol at the top of a hill, the renovated
Ryman Auditorium on Fifth Avenue and the scenic riverfront
and reconstructed fort surrounded by plenty of fine restaurants,
nightclubs and cafes known as the "District".
Dedicated music fans will probably want to see the original
building of the Grand Ole Opry and Music Row, which
was the core of Nashville's recording industry.
