MADRID
is a vast an unusually modern city, with a population of
three million. The heart of the city is delightful, with
pockets of medieval buildings and narrow alleys, with the
unique shops and bars, mixed with eighteenth-century Bourbon
squares. There are few sights of great architectural interest,
