LIVERPOOL has a legacy as a great shipping port with its famous waterfront on the River Mersey and of course being the home of the Fab Four. The Cavern itself was where the band was first spotted by Brian Epstein. The club was partly destroyed in 1973, but was rebuilt on half of the original site, supposedly using the original bricks.
