Known as the
" Spice Island", GRENADA is a major source
of nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and cocoa for the world.
It is dotted with stunning black and white sandy beaches
and filled with dozens of secluded coves. It attracts visitors
who like snorkeling, sailing and fishing or just lying around
on the beach. The central part of the island is a lush jungle
of palms, banana trees and vibrant colored flowering fauna
with cascading rivers, beautiful lakes and waterfalls. The
capital, St. George's, is quite beautiful with Its
horseshoe shaped harbour and colorful dockside ware-houses
and traditional shops.
