COPENHAGEN (København) is definitely Scandinavia's most vibrant and
likeable capital. It is a city that exudes quaint charm, as seen in its canals,
narrow streets, and old houses and lack of skyscapers. The central belt of the
city is compact, pedestrian friendly and perfect for walking as evidenced by the
Strøget,
the longest pedestrian street in the world. There are many options for shopping
and entertainment, from theatre to the famous Tivoli Garden, an amusement
park. There are some must see architectural landmarks; the Baroque style Rådhuset
(City Hall), Christiansborg Palace, the Børsen and the steeple
of Vor Frelsers Kirke.
